Earthship Brighton
Earthship Brighton is an award winning zero carbon project that combines many elements of sustainable construction into a building with outstanding green credentials.
The Earthship is passive solar, is built from salvaged and reclaimed materials, harvests all its water from rain and generates renewable energy onsite to meet demand for all hot water and electricity. There are solar panels for electricity and hot water, a wood pellet stove and a small wind turbine.
Earthship Brighton is a community centre and after winning various awards it is being showcased as one of the most progressive eco-buildings in Europe.
